Job Description

This position is responsible for the HRIS system (WorkDay) in identifying business requirements for projects, upgrades and process improvements, which include Configuring new requirements, creating project and process specifications, staging of test environments and data and ensuring smooth implementations. Facilitates requirement gathering and alignment with business and technology partners, while playing critical roles in projects. Solves complex system and system-related problems. Plays a critical role in cross-functional projects and any merger and acquisition activities. Role will require to understand various Workday related requirements and configure the system effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • In depth understanding of the HRIS application (functional aspects), including all integration points with vendors or other internal company systems.
  • Includes broad understanding of other business areas’ processes and systems that impact HRIS.
  • Serves as a consultant for functional users, technical staff, and business partners across the company.
  • Builds strong relationships with Tech and Business Partners across the organization.
  • Responsible for reviewing potential new functionality within the system & how it would be implemented within existing HRIS suite.
  • Responsible to configure Workday modules but not limited to following areas such as Time Tracking, Absence Management, Workday HCM, Workday Benefits, Workday Payroll

Required Qualifications

  • Good Knowledge of HCM tasks.
  • Must have 2-4 years of relevant Workday HCM experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Payroll Functional.
  • Provide training and support to multiple stakeholders.
  • Create design document based on new functionality.
  • Partner with Stakeholder to understand the requirement and provide strong
  • Consultation on Approach and Testing strategies.
  • Responsible to resolves the issues reported by various groups.
  • Responsible to provide configuration support for Time Tracking and Absence.
  • Should have basic knowledge of reporting.
  • Complete required on Job Training and shared the knowledge among the team
  • Help business Team to create effective SOPS.
  • Solves complex system and system-related problems, including issues that require expert knowledge of the system and processes.
  • Analyze, design, test, upgrade/ implement system fixes while ensuring all documentation is completed
  • Initiates process improvements including integration points between systems, internal and external.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The candidate must possess excellent communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Power Point and Word.
  • Strong audit skills that include ability to review data sets for differences; ability to identify and troubleshoot data integrity issues.
  • Effective communication skills including capability of asking probing questions to ensure thorough understanding of business requests for data/reports.
  • Demonstrated capability to handle access to highly sensitive information in a professional and secured manner.
