About The Role

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and New York City Health + Hospitals|Queens is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician. We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and talented candidate to join our Queens ED team.

New York City Health + Hospitals|Queens is a 318-bed acute care facility and part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the country. It is a modern medical center with Centers of Excellence in Women’s Health, Cancer Care, Diabetes Care, and Behavioral Health and serves the most culturally diverse population in the world with a wide spectrum of medical conditions. New York City Health + Hospitals|Queens averages 16,000 admissions per year, 100,000 Emergency Department visits and over 300,000 outpatient visits. We are currently in the process of expanding and constructing a state-of-the-art Emergency Department.

The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality emergency medicine care while contributing to excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. The successful candidate must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and licensed in the State of New York. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Clinical Education, EM Critical Care, Emergency Ultrasound and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Compensation

Faculty appointment will be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishment. We are committed to practicing patient-centered emergency care and furthering our specialty through training.

Compensation range from 287K to 297K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
