Job Title: Deputy Project Manager

Location: Jaipur

Experience: 4-5 Years

Industry: Mining Equipment, Construction equipment or Material handling equipment

Objective of the Role

The primary objective of the role is to handle Project Management as part of R&D team. Normet is following global R&D Gate processes for product development & B feature introduction. This is exciting opportunity to be part of great Normet team.

Job Responsibility / KRA

  • Ensure adherence to Gate model process in product development projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects/tasks.
  • Monitor and follow up project progress and update stakeholders on key milestones.
  • Follow up schedule and cost against targets.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks/issues and propose mitigation plan.
  • Organise project meetings, prepare and circulate Memo.

Competencies (which are required for performing the above tasks)

  • Understand technical aspects of the projects, project phases, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Good communication skills (English) and clearly convey information to stakeholders.
  • Working well with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Efficiently prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and some experience on real utilization of ERP.
  • Understanding of heavy equipment manufacturing processes & challenges during the development process of such equipment’s.
  • Special Working Conditions- No special condition applicable
  • Main interactions of the role- Engineering team, Sourcing team, Proto & testing team, Production team, Product line VP and other relevant global teams.
  • Education Qualification- Bachelor in Engineering or Min Diploma in engineering.
