Obstretician and Gynecologist Sharjah

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, perform appropriate procedures, and deliver patient-centered women's healthcare. Current Dubai vacancies commonly require DHA licensing/eligibility and relevant post-specialization experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive obstetric and gynecological consultations and examinations.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies and identify maternal and fetal complications.
• Conduct normal vaginal deliveries and perform cesarean sections within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions.
• Manage menstrual disorders, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infections, menopause, and reproductive health conditions.
• Provide contraception, family planning, and women's health counseling.
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries according to qualifications and clinical privileges.
• Perform and interpret obstetric and gynecological ultrasound where appropriately qualified.
• Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for gynecological procedures.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks, benefits, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, fertility specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• MD / MS / DNB / MRCOG / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology .
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist.
• Strong experience in both obstetrics and gynecology.
• Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
• Experience in cesarean sections and gynecological procedures.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
