ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a product-focused engineering team at a bootstrapped AI platform studio building tools that bring AI to the heart of the SME sector. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll own complex architectural challenges — from large-scale data synchronisation to secure sandbox infrastructure — helping scale the platform to its next major milestone.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the most complex architectural problems across the platform, including multi-terabyte data synchronisation and secure sandbox infrastructure.
  • Architect, build, and ship high-quality full-stack features using React and TypeScript with a focus on long-term scalability and UX.
  • Design and implement systems to synchronise and index terabytes of client data while enforcing permissions.
  • Build infrastructure to process millions of LLM calls per month with high reliability and security.
  • Implement scalable, secure code sandbox solutions capable of spawning thousands of sandboxes per day.
  • Create base infrastructure and tooling for fast custom integrations so new systems can be connected in hours.
  • Collaborate on technical roadmaps and align on architectural decisions with the development team.
  • Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive code quality through thorough, constructive reviews.
  • Continuously improve development processes and engineering standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with tRPC or an equivalent type-safe API communication framework.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and modern container orchestration at scale.
  • Proven track record designing and scaling complex software architectures for high-growth products.
  • Experience synchronising large datasets, handling high-volume LLM/API call processing, and building secure multi-tenant systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing secure, multi-tenant sandbox environments.
  • Strong sense of product ownership with genuine attention to user experience.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring engineers and actively shaping engineering culture and standards.
  • Comfortable moving quickly and learning in a fast-paced environment.
