Associate Director, Student Care

Anderson University’s Office of Student Development invites applications for a full-time, 11-month position as Associate Director of Student Care . The Associate Director of Student Care plays a key role in supporting student success at Anderson University. This position provides proactive support and case management for students who may be at risk of attrition or experiencing barriers to academic and personal success. Working closely with the Dean of Student Support and the Center for Student Success, the Associate Director will provide academic coaching, college skills training, and individualized support while connecting students with appropriate campus and community resources. The Associate Director will also help lead the Trojan Care Network, coordinating student care referrals, Stoplight Survey follow-up, student engagement data, and communication with faculty and campus partners. This position will educate faculty and staff on the Trojan Care Network, coordinate follow-up for students of concern, support students considering withdrawal, and collaborate with offices such as the Registrar, Athletics, Academic Advising, and Student Life to help students overcome barriers and continue their journey toward success at Anderson University. The Associate Director will also serve as a case manager for students requiring additional support and provide guidance to Student Life staff responding to student care concerns.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a master’s and 3–5 years of progressive experience in higher education or student affairs required. Experience with student conduct, case management, academic support, or working with at-risk and underprepared college students is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work professionally and confidentially with students, families, faculty, and staff.
