Job Overview
Job Summary:**
Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Cider-Electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on renewable energy projects. This role focuses on hands-on electrical work and does not require driving.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and relevant codes (NEC, local, and company standards).
- Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating, and testing of electrical circuits.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and instructions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, etc.).
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of electrical tools and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, amp clamps, megohmmeters).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various outdoor and construction environments.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime and weekends, as project demands require.New
