Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is more than someone who can simply produce an estimate. We are looking for someone who will own the entire estimating process and become a reliable point of contact for both the company and its clients.

They should be technically strong but also highly communicative and commercially minded. They need to be comfortable picking up the phone, having conversations with American subcontractors, asking the right questions, negotiating pricing when appropriate, and speaking directly with clients.

A sales-oriented personality is a strong plus. The ideal candidate can build rapport, communicate value, confidently discuss pricing, handle questions or objections, and help move projects forward. Most importantly, this person should be proactive, accountable, and capable of managing the estimating function with minimal supervision.
