This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistente Fiscal (Encerramento) based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity for an accounting professional to support fiscal closing routines and ensure accurate, timely <compliance.You> will contribute to municipal fiscal closing processes and help maintain organized and reliable tax records.The role involves reviewing information, performing necessary checks, and supporting the delivery of tax-related <obligations.You> will work with established procedures and deadlines while helping identify errors and opportunities to improve processes.This position offers practical exposure to Brazilian tax routines, particularly within Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit <regimes.It> is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and fiscal documentation.The role is fully remote and offers an environment focused on professional development and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities

  • Execute municipal fiscal closing processes for companies, following applicable legislation and established procedures.
  • Perform the consultations, validations, and reconciliations required to support accurate fiscal compliance.
  • Prepare and organize information and documentation necessary for the fulfillment of tax obligations.
  • Support the timely delivery of municipal and federal ancillary obligations, particularly those of lower complexity.
  • Follow established deadlines, workflows, and quality standards across fiscal closing activities.
  • Assist in identifying errors, inconsistencies, and potential risks within fiscal processes.
  • Contribute suggestions and practical improvements aimed at increasing process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain organized fiscal records and support the team with day-to-day administrative and operational activities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis).
  • Knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and specific taxation practices.
  • Familiarity with fiscal routines involving Simples Nacional and Lucro Presumido regimes.
  • Knowledge of municipal and federal ancillary tax obligations.
  • Understanding of procedures related to the entry and issuance of fiscal invoices (Notas Fiscais).
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Sheets, particularly simple formulas in Excel or Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for handling fiscal records and deadlines.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and manage routine activities with accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset and willingness to identify inconsistencies and contribute to process improvements.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
