This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Especialista Práticas Médicas based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of multidisciplinary healthcare practices within a complex hospital <environment.You> will help design, validate, and implement care models, clinical protocols, and integrated care pathways focused on patient safety and quality.The role combines clinical practice, process improvement, quality management, and health outcomes <measurement.You> will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, managers, medical specialties, and corporate areas to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.Your expertise will help strengthen a culture of safety, evidence-based practice, equity, and value-based <healthcare.You> will also contribute to strategic initiatives, internal training, and projects that improve patient outcomes and the overall care experience.This is a temporary position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Accountabilities

Align the development and validation of multidisciplinary care models to standardize clinical practices and support appropriate workforce dimensioning.

Work with team leaders to model multidisciplinary activities, improve performance, and optimize care workflows, with a strong focus on patient safety and care efficiency.

Design, validate, and implement multidisciplinary protocols supported by clinical evidence and best practices.

Strengthen the culture of quality and patient safety across business units, aligned with established quality, safety, and care practice programs.

Develop integrated care pathways focused on value-based healthcare and improved patient outcomes.

Support the development and application of care-related scoring methodologies designed to improve clinical decision-making and quality of care.

Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate integrated care pathways, measuring outcomes for patients participating in these programs.

Define multidisciplinary policies and protocols in collaboration with relevant business units, ensuring alignment with person-centered care, efficiency, equity, effectiveness, responsible resource use, and patient safety principles.

Contribute to strategic planning and initiatives aligned with organizational priorities, technical guidelines, and strategic pillars.

Structure and participate in internal training programs focused on clinical and multidisciplinary care practices.

Collaborate with corporate and operational teams on the development and implementation of strategic healthcare projects.

Maintain effective interfaces with medical specialty groups and the broader medical staff.

Support compliance with applicable environmental requirements and operational controls, including waste, liquid effluents, atmospheric emissions, and natural resource management.

Participate in environmental emergency preparedness activities, including simulations and, when applicable, real emergency response procedures.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in quality and patient safety or process management.
  • Professional experience in healthcare delivery, quality, or process management environments.
  • Practical knowledge of healthcare processes, clinical protocols, and multidisciplinary care models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate clinical and operational challenges into practical improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, managers, medical professionals, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate training, provide guidance, and promote adoption of new practices.
  • Understanding of patient safety, evidence-based practice, healthcare quality, efficiency, equity, and value-based care principles.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, structured processes, and patient-centered outcomes.
