Position Summary
The Office Services Assistant provides entry-level, cross-functional support to the Office Services team across multiple locations. This position assists with reception coverage, mail and delivery services, purchasing support, and basic audio/visual support as needed. The incumbent works under general supervision and will report to the Office Services Manager. The person in this role is expected to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and strong customer service in a university environment.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Office Support - Provide reception coverage, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and directing inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and interoffice deliveries. Support daily delivery operations and the distribution of materials across multiple locations. Assist with purchasing functions, including ordering supplies, tracking requests, and maintaining inventory levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of service across supported locations. Maintain accurate records, logs, and supply areas.
- Conference Room Management - Serves as a contact for scheduling and managing 26 meeting rooms for University Advancement. This includes providing basic a/v support to select meeting rooms including equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$17.87 - $27.06 / Hourly
