We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Digital Product Creation program. You'll support our merchandising and design teams who work together to take products from an idea and a sketch to a physical garment. This is a role for someone who's excited to sit at the intersection of physical products (our garments) and the digital tools that bring them to life.

Your focus will be line planning and design, rewiring how we collaborate across product creation teams to design what products to bring to for our fans and customers.

You'll lead the suite of tools and capabilities end to end — defining the vision, translating it into digital capabilities across the teams who use these tools every day. You'll work across several operations and alongside other Product Managers across the Digital organization, and you'll have room to shape how we work and grow as a product leader.

This is an individual contributor role. Experience in line planning, merchandising, design, or product creation is ideal, as is any background in retail and apparel.

About the Job

  • Define and promote a vision for the future of Line planning and Design. Lead the product strategy to rewire how we work from line plan to sketching, and how both connect to merch, PD, and downstream systems. Motivate and inspire partners, other PMs, and the technical team around the vision and promote these benefits and motivate partners around why it matters.
  • Manage a suite of tools and capabilities that support Global Merch and Design end to end. These tools translate the vision into use cases, requirements, and user stories.
  • Manage the full spectrum of product development, using prototypes and MVPs to test assumptions and refine direction based on user engagement.
  • Be able to collect and summarize data to be data informed and comfortable leading with your recommendations. Use experimentation to take that data, define a hypothesis, and run a test and receive data learn what works and does not work for our fans and our business.
  • Work with partners and operations to document current-state processes, identify opportunities where they can be completely rewired (not just optimized), and guide process change and adoption with partners.
  • Establish the right OKRs and analytics strategy to shape insights. Monitor success of goals on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Manage a dynamic product backlog – prioritize new ideas, enhancement requests from users, competitive analysis, and engagement data for your product.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors where we have them. Be Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners and influence the vendor roadmap to prioritize enhancements or new capabilities. Be willing to make difficult tradeoffs of using the out of the box functionality or customizing the platform based on our needs.
  • Support product releases and lead rollout and adoption with business operations teams, understanding ways of working and needs to communicate and launch changes to users.
  • Keep a pulse on the industry. Conduct competitive analysis, evaluate other retailers, and stay informed on the industry and evolving technologies in line planning and design to inform where we go next.
  • Be a leader and contributor to our product organization — share better ways of working, mentor where you can, and help level up the team around you.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in product management, math, statistics, engineering, computer science or other quantitative fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with preference for experience in both new build and 3rd party vendor platforms
  • A product builder at heart, you're comfortable from discovery through adoption. Reputation for clear documentation of user journeys, epics and requirements.
  • Data and Experience using data and insights to inform product development, with the ability to summarize insights and lead with a clear recommendation.
  • Track record in product discovery and rallying teams.
  • Curious about the industry and the craft. You follow what other retailers are doing and and how technologies are evolving and bring ideas back.
  • Promote collaboration and new ideas across geographical and cultural boundaries.
  • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to a variety of audiences at all levels, across multiple departments.

This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. We expect you in office 3 days per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $136,000 - $185,000 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. We will base the amount an employee will earn within the salary range on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and needs.
