About The Role

What if you could do the kind of work the world needs?

At WSP, you can access our global scale, contribute to landmark projects and connect with the brightest minds in your field to do the best work of your life. You can embrace your curiosity in a culture that celebrates new ideas and diverse perspectives. You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.

As the Digital Transformation Growth Lead, you will be accountable for growing and delivering WSP’s digital transformation business across priority UK and Ireland markets including local government, central government, transport, water and energy. This is a senior seller-doer role, combining hands-on client delivery with business development, proposition shaping and market growth.

You will help clients design, deliver and embed digital, data and AI-enabled change, from digital strategy, operating models and adoption roadmaps through to practical tools, automation, decision-support and transformation delivery. The role will suit someone who has successfully built digital transformation advisory work in a professional services or infrastructure environment and can turn market relationships into sustainable revenue growth.

A little more about your role...

  • Lead business development and pipeline growth for digital transformation work, building trusted senior relationships with clients across local government, central government, transport, water and energy.

  • Develop and take to market clear propositions that combine digital, data, AI, automation, service transformation, operating model change and adoption support to solve practical client problems.
  • Provide leadership and oversight across digital transformation projects, ensuring work is commercially strong, technically credible and focused on measurable client outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, helping them understand how digital, data and AI can improve services, strengthen delivery confidence and create lasting organisational change.
  • Work closely with sector, account and technical teams across WSP to connect advisory, digital, data, GIS and infrastructure expertise into joined-up client offers.
  • Build WSP’s external profile in digital transformation through client conversations, market engagement, thought leadership and participation in relevant industry networks.
  • Coach and support teams to develop digital transformation consulting capability, including business development discipline, client delivery, digital adoption, AI-enabled change and practical implementation skills.
  • Monitor market trends, policy priorities, investment cycles and client needs across public sector and regulated infrastructure markets to identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Proven seller-doer capability, with the confidence to originate opportunities, shape propositions, lead bids and deliver work personally where needed.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, data, AI, automation and technology-enabled change, with the ability to explain complex ideas in practical, outcome-focused language.
  • Experience helping clients move from strategy into delivery, including adoption, operating model change, governance, capability building and benefits realisation.
  • Confidence working across multidisciplinary teams and bringing together advisory, technical and digital expertise to create integrated client solutions.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial and practical leadership style, with the ability to build momentum in a growing business and create confidence with clients and colleagues.
