About The Role
Reports To: Accommodation Manager & Supervisors
The 4-star Riverside Park Hotel are currently recruiting for Full & Part Time Accommodation Assistants to join our dedicated housekeeping team. Are you looking for a role that does not involve evening or late-night shifts? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Applicants must be available to work 3 days a week between midweek and weekends. Job Brief
- To ensure that all guestrooms, public areas, are serviced to the agreed presentation and high standards of
- the Hotel, throughout the day. You will demonstrate care in everything you do, take ownership of your work, and approach each day with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Working with the team to deliver the highest cleaning standards, the successful candidate will
- Ensure consistent hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation of guest bedrooms and public areas, showing genuine
care for both guests and colleagues
- Work efficiently and safely, managing tasks effectively and multitasking when required
- Comply fully with rosters, demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and excellent timekeeping
- Contribute positively to the team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing best practice
- Ensure all public areas receive the evening service required on an ongoing basis.
- Inspect carpets, fabrics, furnishings, and fittings daily to check they are clean and in good repair.
- Ensure that VIP rooms receive special attention gifts, flowers etc.
- Establish and maintain good working relations with all the other employees of the department.
- Ensure the correct standards of hygiene, appearance and behaviour are adhered to.
- To be fully aware of and adhere to fire precautions and fire evacuation procedures.
- To wear the appropriate uniform, and to adhere to dress and appearance standards.
- Ensure guest corridors are always clean and tidy.
- To take reasonable care to ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
- To report any physical condition that is deemed unsafe or potentially unsafe.
- To assist with any other reasonable duties as directed.

- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for standards

- Previous experience is essential
This position is for midweek & weekend work .
