Here at Beyond, as an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial visibility. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management accounts and variance analysis across our global entities. This is a hands-on position offering real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape processes within a growing organisation.
Role Responsibilities
- Help produce timely, accurate monthly management accounts across multiple entities and currencies
- Ownership of the overhead costs across the groups
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Calculating and posting journals, including prepayments, accruals, accrued income and deferred income
- Maintaining the fixed asset register & calculating the monthly depreciation
- Supporting the year end audit, resolving queries with accompanying evidence
- Ownership of the invoicing for a key customer
- Manage the relationship with the key customer and monthly calls to discuss the progress of the debt collection
- Providing support with systems improvements
- Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required

What Success Looks Like
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working within an Assistant Management Accountant position
- A good understanding of accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
Desirable Experience
- AAT Qualified and or part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Multi-Currency / Multi-Entity: Familiarity with global entity management (UK, US, Europe, Asia) and FX revaluations.
- PE Familiarity: Prior experience working within a Private Equity-backed business is a strong advantage.
