Junior HR Specialist – Employee Engagement, Communications & HR Operations

About The Role

At ArcelorMittal International, our people are at the center of our success. We are looking for a proactive and creative HR Specialist who will help enhance the employee experience through employee engagement initiatives, communication activities, HR operations, and people data management.

Working closely with the international HR team and business stakeholders, you will contribute to creating an engaging workplace, strengthening our employer brand, and supporting HR processes across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee surveys and help translate feedback into meaningful actions.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Communication & Employer Branding

  • Create communication content for newsletters, intranet, LinkedIn, websites, and other digital channels.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and social media presence.
  • Coordinate the creation of videos and multimedia content for onboarding, communication, and promotional purposes.
  • Help manage and continuously improve website content and visibility.

Learning & Onboarding

  • Design and maintain onboarding programs and learning paths for new employees.
  • Create and update learning materials, guides, and digital learning resources.
  • Support learning and development initiatives across the organization.

HR Operations & Data Management

  • Support key HR administration processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain employee data and ensure data quality within HR systems.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to HR digitalization and continuous improvement projects.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • First experience in HR, communication, employee engagement, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and reporting tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HR systems, Power BI, content management platforms, or digital learning tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
