This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Product Management, Clinical Data & Integrations based in Canada.

This is a hands-on senior product leadership role focused on shaping the future of healthcare data and <interoperability.You> will define the product vision and roadmap for integrating clinical, laboratory, proteomic, and consumer-health data into a longitudinal patient record.The role combines strategic product thinking with deep execution, partner evaluation, discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional <delivery.You> will turn complex integrations into scalable, reusable product capabilities rather than one-off technical connections.Working closely with Clinical, Engineering, Data, AI, Privacy, Security, Legal, and external partners, you will translate complex healthcare data into meaningful patient <value.You> will also establish the foundations for APIs, FHIR, HL7, identity, normalization, provenance, consent, and data-quality capabilities.This is an opportunity to build a new product area from the ground up while contributing to a mission centered on proactive, patient-focused healthcare.

Accountabilities

  • Define the product vision, strategy, principles, and roadmap for incorporating clinical, laboratory, proteomic, and consumer-health data into a longitudinal health record.
  • Identify external data sources and use cases that offer meaningful patient and business value and determine where investment should be prioritized.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of blood, laboratory, and proteomics integrations with external partners.
  • Establish a scalable consumer-health integration strategy covering wearables, sleep, activity, cardiovascular data, and other connected-health platforms.
  • Partner with Clinical teams to ensure external health data is interpreted, contextualized, and surfaced responsibly to improve patient insights and guidance.
  • Work closely with Data, Engineering, and AI teams to create a coherent longitudinal patient record spanning imaging, laboratory, clinical, and consumer-health information.
  • Define product requirements for identity resolution, data normalization, provenance, quality, clinical meaning, and temporal context.
  • Build reusable interoperability and data-exchange capabilities, including API, FHIR, and HL7 patterns, to reduce the complexity and cost of future integrations.
  • Partner with Privacy, Legal, Security, Clinical, and Engineering teams to create rigorous and intuitive consent and data-sharing experiences that keep patients in control.
  • Evaluate prospective partnerships based on patient value, data quality, integration complexity, scalability, strategic alignment, and differentiation.
  • Establish product capabilities and platform foundations that can support future integrations rather than repeatedly creating bespoke solutions.
  • Translate complex technical and clinical capabilities into compelling user and patient value propositions.
  • Drive discovery, prioritization, execution, and stakeholder alignment while operating as the primary product leader for an emerging product area.
  • Build the foundation for a broader product organization over time through strong product practices, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, including significant ownership of complex technical, platform, data, or integration products.
  • Required: significant experience building products involving healthcare or clinical data.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrations across multiple organizations, systems, platforms, or data providers.
  • Strong product-level understanding of APIs, data platforms, schemas, identity resolution, data quality, and integration architecture.
  • Strongly preferred experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or related clinical-data exchange patterns.
  • Valuable experience with laboratory data, EHRs, diagnostics, genomics/proteomics, remote patient monitoring, wearable data, or adjacent healthcare-data modalities.
  • Proven ability to translate complex clinical and technical capabilities into clear, compelling patient or user value.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with Clinical, Engineering, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, and external partnership teams.
  • Strong strategic judgment and experience evaluating technology, data, and commercial partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reusable platform capabilities rather than repeatedly developing one-off integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and communicate complex subjects clearly.
  • Strong product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and execution capabilities.
  • Willingness to remain highly hands-on, personally driving strategy and execution while the product area and team are being established.
  • A pioneering mindset, strong ownership, bias toward action, intellectual curiosity, and resilience when navigating complex challenges.
  • A patient-first approach and genuine interest in using technology and data to improve healthcare outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where experimentation, disciplined execution, and long-term platform thinking are equally important.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
