Play a key role in driving procurement excellence within a global business environment, ensuring supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and seamless project execution across the full product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the project buyer for assigned components and project scope
  • Lead supplier selection activities for new product introduction (NPI), value engineering (VE), and resourcing, aligned with commodity strategies
  • Manage end-to-end project deliverables for sourced components, including cost, timelines, quality milestones, and production readiness (APQP, PPAP, SOP follow-up)
  • Ensure compliance with technical and design requirements, supporting cross-functional engineering activities
  • Coordinate and manage engineering changes with suppliers after production start, including delivery of cost-saving initiatives
  • Serve as the main operational contact for assigned suppliers during mass production
  • Collaborate with global teams when needed to support cross-regional sourcing activities
  • Act as the primary interface between suppliers and internal teams (supply chain, logistics, quality) to resolve operational issues
  • Monitor supplier capacity and performance to ensure continuity of supply
  • Implement risk mitigation and procurement action plans within assigned scope
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and contribute to overall competitiveness in collaboration with commodity teams
  • Support the execution of commodity strategies, including achieving productivity targets
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead reviews, and ensure continuous improvement through structured follow-up actions

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Approximately 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and supplier selection through SOP and series production support
  • Energetic, curious, and creative approach with strong decision-making skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Coupa and/or SCC is considered an advantage
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
