About The Role

To maintain safe working environment in the Unit with strict adherence of Safety Budgets, Emergency Prepadness plan, compliances of all statutory requirements, Implementation of SMS & IMS System for ensuring zero incidents.
Floating manpower. Contractor workers participation and awareness in safety management. Engaged Truck Drivers for cement and clinker transport are not in line with our safety requirements. Lack of proactive Planning approach for the job. lack of Horizontal implementation of internal and External Audit findings at workplace.
Self-Demonstrated Commitment for the Safety- Sustainability Conduct Safety Observation Round & CFSA at workplace. Reporting Near Miss, Hazards (OFI's) Reporting & ensuring compliances for the same. All relevant statutory compliances on Time Ensure 100% compliance of safety related statutory requirement as per state rules and Factory act.
Safety Promotion Activities organized for workforce Organised motivational programs related to safety in order to awareness among employees and contract workmen. 1. NSD Activities. 2. RSW Activities. 3. Organise Campaign on Theme for Every Month. 4. Fire Service Day Celebration etc.
Implementation of SMS & IMS System Coordination and participation in internal and external audit and ensuring 100% compliances of audit findings. 1. Effective implementation of progressive consequence management 2. Effective implementation of safety systems with 100% compliance by correspondence to Factory inspector requirement. 3. 100% compliance to Elect, LOTOTO, Road safety& Hot work standard by effective functioning of standard champion team.
Coordination and monitoring with standard champions & Subcommittee chairmen along with the line mangers to Implement safety standards and safety culture in unit. Coordination and participation in all sub committees meeting, Regular monitoring & review Key performance of each safety standards and subcommittee meeting outcomes compliances.
To support DH Safety in maintaining safe working environment within the Unit by implementing and ensuring strict adherence of DCBL safety standards and practices throughout the plant and inculcating strong safety behaviour down the line across the plant to maintain zero incidents.
While the meeting, in motivational programme, when I have observed non-compliances in safety by their workforce etc. For statutory requirements guidelines, for new any safety initiatives in others plant, for Emergency Prepadness and for new ideas or any new safety equipment’s. Demonstration and awareness on safety.
