About The Role

The Supervisor, Production Control administers the day-to-day tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve the goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost and optimization.

Assign routine daily tasks prioritizing work schedules for production department and monitor work at frequent intervals to ensure daily production schedules are met
Conduct process confirmations to ensure standard work processes are being followed; identify and address non-compliance, look for continuous improvement opportunities while ensuring all operational processes are carried out in accordance with quality systems and procedures
Participate in staff selection, performance management (including evaluation and discipline), coaching, training, scheduling and employee development while ensuring compliance to legal and company requirements
Set weekly production targets. Maintain metrics and communicate production issues at daily and weekly production or program meetings
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices
Follow established practices & procedures and safety, quality, and production improvement goals
Support SIOP and other weekly organization reporting processes
High School Diploma or GED
No experience in people management required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in field.
