About The Role

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the GCC vision, strategy, and operating model aligned with global business objectives.
  • Develop multi-year growth plans covering capability expansion, talent acquisition, and technology innovation.
  • Partner with global technology and business leaders to build strategic roadmaps and investment priorities.
  • Position the GCC as a center of excellence for technology, innovation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary interface for global business and technology stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships with functional leaders across IT, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and HR.
  • Influence enterprise technology decisions and drive alignment between GCC and global teams.
  • Establish governance mechanisms, KPIs, and executive reporting processes.

Technology Delivery Leadership

  • Oversee delivery across:
  • Software Engineering
  • Enterprise Applications
  • Data & Analytics
  • AI & Automation
  • IT Service Management
  • Ensure delivery excellence, quality standards, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Drive Agile, DevOps, Product Engineering, and platform-centric delivery models.

GCC Operations & Governance

  • Establish scalable operating frameworks, policies, and governance models.
  • Drive productivity, operational excellence, and service reliability.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, vendor relationships, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, risk, and audit requirements.

Talent & Organization Building

  • Build and lead a diverse, high-performing technology workforce.
  • Develop succession planning and leadership pipelines.
  • Create a strong employee value proposition to attract and retain top technology talent.
  • Foster an innovation-first culture focused on learning, collaboration, and accountability.

Risk, Compliance & Security

  • Ensure adherence to information security policies and global compliance standards.
  • Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Drive cybersecurity maturity and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Ensure governance across data privacy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.
  • 18+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale development projects across multiple teams.
  • Experience in the logistics or freight-forwarding industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, EDI, SAP, or logistics-specific systems.
