About The Role

Reporting to the Head of M&A and Strategic Planning, the Integrations Manager serves as the operational owner of post-close acquisition integration within BCTS. This is a hands-on program management role: the Integrations Manager executes the integration Project Management Office (PMO) function for each deal, converting deal thesis and diligence findings into a structured, governed, and repeatable integration program.

The Integrations Manager acts as the day-to-day quarterback of integration execution — owning the integration plan, the RAID log (risks, actions, issues, decisions), and the governance cadence that keeps every workstream visible and on track. The role maintains and updates integration project plans, coordinates / owns RACI matrix (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) across finance, HR, IT/systems, and field operations, and tracks realized synergies for each acquisition against the original deal thesis.

Working in close partnership with the M&A team, the Integrations Manager ensures integration activities are properly sequenced, resourced, staffed, and reported. The role also owns internal stakeholder management: keeping functional leaders, the Head of M&A, and senior leadership aligned through structured status reporting, steering committee updates, and clear escalation paths, so integration risk and progress are continuously monitored and managed.

The individual is expected to participate in late-stage due diligence to capture integration risks and requirements before close, running a formal diligence-to-integration handoff. Through disciplined program management, clear governance, and a strong stakeholder communication cadence, the Integrations Manager will help BCTS scale its acquisition strategy without sacrificing execution quality.

Accountabilities

Own the post-close integration program

  • Build and maintain organized integration plans (workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, RAID log) for each closed acquisition
  • Maintain and evolve a standardized integration playbook/checklist to make execution repeatable and auditable across deals
  • Define and run a governance cadence (steering committee updates, status reporting, milestone reviews) and report progress to the Head of M&A and functional leaders

Coordinate cross-functional integration execution

  • Coordinate across acquired company’s and BCTS’s finance, HR, IT/systems, and field operations to drive accountable execution of integration workstreams
  • Coordinate technology/systems integration workplans (e.g., ERP, HRIS, field service platforms) in partnership with IT and acquired company’s leadership
  • Proactively identify and escalate blockers, resource constraints, conflicts, and timeline/scope risks to the Head of M&A with recommended mitigation paths

Track and report synergy realization

  • Develop and standardize tracking of expected vs. realized synergies, tied back to the original deal model
  • Report synergy performance and variance against deal thesis on a defined reporting cadence
  • Partner with the CFO's team on post-close performance reporting and financial tracking

Support the diligence-to-integration handoff

  • Participate in late-stage diligence to capture integration risks, dependencies, and resourcing requirements ahead of close
  • Own integration readiness assessments (Day 1 / Day 100 planning) prior to close
  • Run a structured handoff process to ensure accurate transfer of deal knowledge from the deal team into the integration plan

Drive continuous improvement of the integration operating model

  • Conduct structured lessons-learned / post-mortem reviews after each integration
  • Refine templates, checklists, RACI matrix, and governance cadence to strengthen the repeatable playbook for future acquisitions
  • Track and report on internal change-management practices to support employee and stakeholder transition through each integration

Key Relationships

  • Head of M&A and Strategic Planning — primary partner and reporting line; joint ownership of deal thesis translation and integration governance
  • Functional leaders (Finance, HR, IT/Systems, Field Operations) — workstream execution and resourcing
  • CFO's team — synergy tracking and post-close financial performance reporting
  • Division/site leadership — field-level execution and change management
  • Deal team — diligence-to-integration handoff

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in M&A integration, PMO, management consulting, or corporate strategy/operations, ideally including direct post-close integration leadership
  • Demonstrated project/program management rigor — comfortable owning project plans, RAID logs, RACI matrix, and governance cadences across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong cross-functional influence and internal stakeholder management skills; able to align finance, HR, IT, and operations leaders without formal authority over them
  • Experience with synergy tracking and financial/operational reporting; comfort partnering with finance/FP&A teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill complex integration status into clear, concise updates for senior leadership and the Head of M&A
  • PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification a plus, not required
  • Experience with ERP/HRIS systems migrations and multi-site or field operations environments a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
