Energy Solution Manager
Austria, Vienna
Main Responsibilities
- Design integrated PV + ESS solutions, including system architecture, component sizing, PCS selection, battery configuration, EMS design, and grid-interaction strategy.
- Develop PV and ESS solution proposals for utility-scale, ensuring technical competitiveness and compliance with local standards.
- Support sales activities through customer workshops, technical presentations, Q&A sessions, and preparation of bidding documents for PV and ESS projects.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies including energy yield simulation, charge/discharge strategy analysis, safety assessment, cycle-life evaluation, and ROI calculations.
- Provide technical support during project delivery, including battery commissioning, PCS debugging, EMS configuration, and troubleshooting of PV + ESS systems.
- Track and analyze PV and ESS industry trends, policies, technologies, and competitive solutions; propose enhancement ideas for Huawei’s smart energy portfolio.
- Deliver technical training for partners, EPCs, integrators, and internal teams on both PV and ESS systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, Automation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Power System or related majors.
- Possess excellent communication and expression skills, analytical and comprehension abilities, and strong pressure resistance.
- Be proactive, responsible, meticulous and patient in work, cheerful in personality, and have a good sense of teamwork.
- Proficient in the operation of software such as Office.
- Work experience in new type energy industries such as photovoltaic, wind power, energy storage, and lithium batteries, or power electronics-related industries is preferred but not limited.
- German language - advanced level.
Professional Knowledge
- Core Technical Theory of PV and ESS: Master PV generation principles, module parameters/selection; ESS core (battery charging/discharging, life, safety); PCS topology/regulation/grid adaptation and EMS control/scheduling/coordination.
- PV+ESS Integrated Design & Simulation: Master integrated architecture design; conduct scenario-based configuration (module/battery/PCS/EMS); proficient in mainstream tools for generation simulation, strategy optimization and performance verification.
- Industry Standards & Compliance: Master key domestic, know grid-connection requirements; understand regional policies to ensure compliance.
Techno-Economic Analysis & Feasibility: Master techno-economic evaluation; grasp generation prediction, LCC analysis; calculate ROI/payback period; conduct comprehensive evaluation considering prices/subsidies to support optimization.
