Cloud Architect- AWS -Perm/Contract

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our growing cloud and digital transformation practice. This is a strategic, customer-facing role that combines deep technical architecture expertise with strong consulting and pre-sales engagement capabilities.

You will work with enterprise clients to design and deliver cloud transformation initiatives, helping organisations modernise their infrastructure, applications, and operating models using AWS technologies. As a trusted advisor, you will engage with business and technical stakeholders, lead solution discovery workshops, develop cloud strategies, and support pre-sales pursuits from solution design through to implementation.

As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for enterprise customers. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption, migration, modernization, security, and governance, helping clients achieve their digital transformation objectives.

You will facilitate discovery workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews to understand client requirements and develop cloud strategies, migration roadmaps, and target-state architectures. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will engage with senior stakeholders and provide expert recommendations that align technology solutions with business outcomes.

A key aspect of the role involves partnering with sales and account teams to support pre-sales activities, including client presentations, solution demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, solution costing and estimation, and the development of compelling technical proposals. You will play an instrumental role in helping win new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships.

You will also establish cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks while providing technical leadership throughout project delivery. Collaborating with engineering, DevOps, security, and application teams, you will ensure solutions are successfully implemented and deliver measurable business value.

Essential Experience

• Significant years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Strong hands-on and architectural expertise across AWS services.
• Proven experience working within a consulting, systems integrator, or professional services environment .
• Demonstrated success supporting pre-sales, client acquisition, and solution consulting engagements .
• Experience leading cloud transformation and migration programs for enterprise customers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-level executives and senior business leaders.
• Experience presenting complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
