About The Role

We are now looking for a  Head of Market Management  who will lead the teams responsible for managing Luxury Escapes’ direct hotel and accommodation partnerships. The role will focus on improving current partnerships, bringing on new partners, and making sure our directly contracted deals perform as strongly as possible.

This person will work closely with teams across contracting, pricing, technology and sales to make sure Luxury Escapes has a strong and competitive range of accommodation. They will also lead the team that manages our villa partners, building strong relationships and improving the performance of our villa offering.

You will be responsible for

  • Develop and deliver the commercial strategy for Luxury Escapes’ direct hotel and villa partnerships
  • Lead negotiations on rates, margins, availability, exclusive offers and promotional support
  • Identify new opportunities to grow the accommodation portfolio across regions and partner types
  • Build strong relationships with senior hotel, connectivity and villa management partners
  • Drive new direct partner connections from identification through to onboarding and launch
  • Lead, coach and develop the Market Management and Villa Management teams
  • Set clear targets and track team and partner performance against agreed commercial goals
  • Use sales, margin, pricing and booking data to improve partner performance and customer choice
  • Improve processes across contracting, onboarding, campaign delivery and partner management
  • Work closely with Product, Technology and senior leaders to improve systems, reporting and commercial results

What we are looking for

  • Significant experience leading a commercial, marketplace or supplier management function
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn strategy into clear action
  • A successful track record of negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Experience building and managing senior relationships with major suppliers or partners
  • Strong financial understanding, including revenue, margin and commercial performance
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a focus on coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to make commercial decisions
  • Experience improving processes, leading change and creating more efficient ways of working
  • Experience in travel, e-commerce or an online marketplace environment is highly regarded
