How you'll make an impact

• Architecture Vision & Technical Strategy: You will decide, evolve, and govern long-term mobile architecture. You will balance the necessity of tackling technical debt with business feature delivery, driving cross-cutting platform refactorings and establishing robust integration-boundary architectures (e.g., app-to-hardware interfaces).
• Technical Quality & Governance: You will establish quality and testability standards, oversee backlogs, and implement security and compliance controls.
• Requirements Clarification & Technical Estimation: You will break down complex technical requirements into sprint-ready, executable work packages for the engineering team.
• Strategic Client Collaboration: You will serve as a trusted technical partner to the Client Product Owner, Lead Platform/Domain Architects, and cross-functional leads. You will co-create technical solutions, provide accurate estimations, and bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution.
• Technical Guidance & Mentorship: You will provide clear rules, guidance, and structure for the development team, collaborating closely with the Mobile Tech Lead to ensure your architectural vision is effectively implemented across the squad.
• Architectural Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: You will document key architectural decisions (ADRs) and system designs, ensuring technical documentation stays up to date and accessible to align the team and maintain long-term codebase maintainability.

What is important to us

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Core Mobile Experience: Extensive experience (7+ years) in mobile application development with a strong, proven track record in software architecture.
• Tech Stack Hierarchy:

Target Technology (Ideal): Hands-on expertise in Flutter, including state management, architectural patterns, and code governance tools (e.g., Dart Code Metrics).

Cross-Platform Alternative: Strong experience with other modern cross-platform technologies (e.g., Kotlin Multiplatform/KMP, React Native) combined with a strong interest and willingness to master Flutter.

Native Minimum: Deep foundation in native mobile development (Android and/or iOS) with a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm to transition into and learn Flutter.

• Architecture & Governance: Proven capability in managing technical debt backlogs, establishing code review standards, and defining robust integration boundaries.
• Stakeholder & Consulting Skills: Excellent communication skills to navigate client consulting (PO/Architect level), provide realistic technical estimations, and defend architectural trade-offs.
• Engineering Quality: Hands-on ability to break down complex system components, maintain high engineering standards, and directly contribute to critical architectural components when needed.
• Language & Communication: Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills for effective technical leadership.
• Nice to haves:

• Experience with BLE or NFC communication technology.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience within the Windows ecosystem.
