Whiteroom Café Staff

Whiteroom is looking for competent and experienced café staff with outstanding personalities, strong emphasis, and experience in quality barista coffee, meal production and bar service.

The café is the centre piece for the Whiteroom Furano base which also incorporates our Tour, Guiding and Instructional office plus our new Backcountry rental and retail store. Situated close to the Furano ski lifts the café will become a focal point for locals and visitors with a relaxed and modern vibe as a day time café plus après drinks after the ski day.

Position Requirements

• Customer service focus and a track record of delivering on customer expectations
• Previous experience working in a café with excellent barista skills and food production knowledge
• A background in sales and strong communication skills
• Fast and efficient when it counts
• Possess a good work ethic, dependable and punctual
• Great attitude, positive mindset, and able to adapt to any situation
• Team player that will be happy to work within a close team
• The ability to get a Japanese working holiday visa or experience/qualifications to gain a skilled migrant visa

Experience

• Strong café/barista experience required.
