Logistics Base Manager

ISS International Spa is looking for a Logistics Base Manager for an offshore project in the Mediterranean Sea.

Qualifications & Experience

• a) Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• b) Minimum 6–10 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, material management, port/base operations, or offshore logistics support.
• c) Previous experience in Oil & Gas, offshore operations, marine logistics, or drilling support activities.
• d) Experience in coordinating logistics contractors and operational teams.
• e) Good knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, cargo management, vessel loading/unloading activities, and HSE requirements.
• f) Experience in coordinating and supervising lifting operations, including the safe use of cranes, forklifts, lifting accessories, and cargo handling equipment.
• g) Knowledge of SAP MM or equivalent ERP systems.
• h) Fluent in Greek & English language.

Main Role Purpose

• a) Coordinate and supervise all activities within the Logistic Base to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous support of offshore operations.
• b) Manage warehousing, yard operations, material handling, cargo preparation, loading/unloading, and material dispatch activities.
• c) Coordinate logistics contractors, marine logistics interfaces, and operational stakeholders.
• d) Ensure compliance with Company procedures, contractual requirements, and HSE standards.
• e) Ensure material availability, traceability, operational readiness, and performance reporting.

• Duration: 12 months liable to extension
• Working schedule: 12 hours a day / 7 days a week
• Rotation: 28 days ON / 28 days OFF inclusive of travelling days
