About The Role

  • Build complex, highly scalable technical solutions in close collaboration with the Tech Lead and Product Lead/Product Manager.
  • Define architectural decisions and ensure the delivery of reliable, state-of-the-art products.
  • Lead and mentor a world-class team of engineers, collaborating with Product Managers, QAs, and Designers to ship new components and features.
  • Champion best practices in agentic engineering, efficiently leveraging modern AI tooling.
  • Work within a dynamic, international, and agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban) characterized by flat hierarchies and very short decision-making processes.
  •  Experience: 10+ years total, with at least 5-6 years as a Backend Developer
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring
  • 5-6+ years of extensive experience in modern backend web development, particularly with PHP 8+ in scalable, high-load environments
  • Proven expertise in frameworks like Symfony and Laravel, adhering to best practices for building scalable applications
  • Strong experience with MySQL and Redis
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and software architecture, including an event-driven approach
  • Experience with infrastructure and cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, and managing deployment pipelines (e.g., GitLab or similar tools)
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Golang experience is a plus
  • Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) or similar technologies is a plus
