Multi-site Programme Assistant - Central Auckland

As a Programme Assistant , you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 7 hours per week , rostered across Monday to Friday

We are also recruiting for relievers/ casuals for our Central sites . If you are unable to work everyday, please state this in your application and we can always consider your application for our casual role. Our casual staff are rostered on a "need by need" basis therefore there is no fixed/ guarenteed hours for casual staff, providing more flexibility to work. 

• On Occasion Mornings/Before School Care 7:00 am to 8:30am Monday to Friday.
• Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm.  Availability from 2.30pm is essential , though finish times may vary.
• Holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).
• Must be able to work across our sites in Central Auckland

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities 
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children 
• Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing 
• Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

• Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship) 
• Default site located in Takanini however you must be able to get to other sites mentioned above in Manurewa, Papatoetoe and Papakura with a car ideally.
• Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts! 
• Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
