About The Role

Application closure date: 14th August 2026

At 4OC, we believe transformation should improve lives, not just processes.

For over 12 years, we have partnered with organisations across local and central government, health, housing, the voluntary sector and those delivering outsourced public services to create meaningful, lasting change.

We help organisations make the most effective use of public resources while ensuring the people delivering services and the residents and communities who rely on them remain at the heart of every decision.

Our approach is practical, collaborative and structured. We break complex change into manageable, low-risk steps that engage people, build confidence and create sustainable outcomes.

Our reputation has been built on our ability to deliver positive change. Through strong client relationships, deep sector expertise and a proven track record of helping organisations successfully navigate transformation, we continue to grow.

As part of our next stage of growth, we are expanding our presence in Ireland and are looking for an exceptional Principal Consultant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of 4OC in Ireland, strengthening our client partnerships and helping more organisations deliver better public services.

The Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful transformation programmes for our clients while supporting the continued growth of 4OC in Ireland.

This is a home-based role, offering the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own time effectively while working with clients across Ireland.

At 4OC, we believe the strongest relationships are built through meaningful connection. You will be encouraged to spend time with clients wherever possible, building trusted relationships, understanding their challenges first-hand and demonstrating the value that 4OC brings.

You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, combining strategic thinking, consulting expertise and practical delivery experience to help organisations address complex challenges and achieve sustainable change.

You will lead client engagements, develop innovative solutions, build strong relationships and support business growth by demonstrating the difference that 4OC can make.

This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, solving complex problems, developing people and making a visible difference through their work.

You will have the opportunity to bring your own expertise, personality and consulting style to every engagement, helping clients experience the 4OC magic: a practical, collaborative and people-focused approach that creates meaningful change and lasting value.
