Senior Cloud Engineer - Warsaw Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (5-8 years) to join our engineering team supporting enterprise-scale cloud and data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in  AWS, Python, Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK), and CI/CD. 

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native solutions using AWS CDK (Python). 
• Independently own complex migration and modernization initiatives from planning through production deployment. 
• Develop and maintain Python-based services, APIs, and automation scripts. 
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, following security and scalability best practices. 
• Lead migration of CI/CD pipelines from GitLab CI to GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, workflow_call, matrix strategies, and self-hosted runners. 
• Design and implement reusable Infrastructure-as-Code components to improve deployment efficiency. 
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define scalable cloud solutions. 
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes. 
• Review code, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices across the team. 
• Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency. 
• Strong hands-on experience with Python. 
• Strong experience with AWS CDK (Python). 
• Excellent understanding of AWS services, including: 
• Lambda 
• Glue 
• Secrets Manager 
• EKS 
• ECR 
• IAM 
• S3 
• CloudWatch 
• EventBridge 
• Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from GitLab CI to GitHub Actions. 
• Strong understanding of: 
• Reusable workflows 
• workflow_call 
• Matrix strategies 
• Self-hosted runners 
• Experience with API development, integration, and modernization. 
• Strong knowledge of Git and GitLab. 
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Ideal candidate

• 5–8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering. 
• Proven experience independently delivering complex cloud migration or modernization projects. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to mentor team members and drive technical excellence. 
• Experience working with globally distributed teams is preferred.
