About The Role
Kanadevia Inova is hiring an experienced Site and Facilities Assistant to join our construction project team to support on the construction of the Tees Valley ERF located in Redcar.
This position is offered on a 24 month fixed term contract (FTC) basis, starting asap.
This is a very hands-on role with a larger emphasis being on the Facilities Assistant duties, so this postion may suit an Office Manager who is used to working on busy constructions sites. Because of the nature of the role,  you will be required to be based on the site for 100% of your working hours, therefore this role would likely be more suited to those living locally or within an easy commute to the site. 
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the Facilities Assistant, maintaining the overall operation and upkeep of the site compound,
- Ensuring all facilities are safe, clean, and fully functional.
- Supporting daily site activities, including managing utilities, coordinating maintenance tasks, and assisting with general site logistics.
- Management of the Access Control System
- Supervision of Security Team and Security Function
- Supervision of Cleaning Staff
- Supervision of Site Labourers 
- Acting as the office administrator for the site including managing office supplies, filing, organization of travel, recording and storing of documentation
- Providing full administrative support to the Site Manager.
- Welcome visitors and clients including arranging catering as required
- Be aware of all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements relevant to their role, and implement and comply with them.

Professional Qualifications
- Strong construction site facilities experience.
- Office Management experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a site based environment, experience would be ideal in this regard
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications
- Basic diploma or equivalent in office administration (desirable)

- Solution orientated
- Good forward planner
- Ability to present ideas effectively
- Strong communicator, fluent in English, other languages an advantage
- Ability to work with limited supervision and manage your own workload
- Salary £30-£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
