Patient care for active chronic care unit, including assessments and personal care.

- Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BCLS certification at time of hire
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Multi-patient medication administration.
- Ability to work independently.
- One year nursing experience in Long Term Care setting.
- Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Good team player.
- Computer skills/RUGS III data entry an asset.
- Evidence of dedication to continuing education.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Keen desire to work with the elderly.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Status: Temporary Full-time (Approx. 18 months)
- Hours:  Monday to Sunday -- Various rotating 12 hour shifts  (hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
- Salary:   $41.150 to $58.980 per hour
