  • Schedules available are Sunday- Thursday or Tuesday- Satuday 10am-6pm
  • Pay: $18/hour-$20/hour

Position Summary

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the facility for clients as well as staff. Also assists with maintaining a preventative maintenance program and resolves immediate operational safety concerns.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts daily maintenance and repairs and inspects facility to assure everything is in the best working condition and cosmetically appropriate.
  • Maintains all local and state required inspections for the facility.
  • Assists maintenance personnel at Wimberley and Promises Austin locations as needed.
  • Obtains competitive bids for products and services from outside vendors and submits to the Facilities Operations Manager.
  • Reviews and recommends ways to maintain or reduce maintenance purchases.
  • Manages preventative maintenance plan.
  • Maintains a system for after-hours and weekend emergencies by establishing and participating in a rotating on-call system to ensure facility needs are met in a timely manner.
  • May direct and supervise the activities of other maintenance personnel.
  • May oversee and lead construction projects at residential building, systems, equipment.
  • Maintains the facilities vehicles.
  • Follows Fire, Environmental and HAZMAT safety codes and regulations for building, systems and equipment.

Education

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years' work experience maintain and/or installing HVAC, plumbing carpentry and electrical.

Applicable State Requirements

  • Valid state driver's license.
