Workshop Diesel Fitter (Dawson South)

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter, to join the Southern Workshop Maintenance team at our Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD.

To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and have a commitment to working together as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Your core accountabilities will include

• Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level.
• Undertake troubleshooting, fault finding, breakdown and preventative maintenance on various CAT & Komatsu Heavy Mobile Equipment (Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Trucks, Watercarts).
• Achieve performance targets in compliance with statutory, safety, health, budget and environmental requirements.
• Knowledge of SAP and Auto Electrical experience is not essential but highly desirable.
• Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Minimum of C Class Manual Drivers Licence
• Experience with safety management systems
• Experience within a mining Mobile Maintenance Operations
• HIAB, EWP, Forklift, Dogging and Rigging Certificates (desirable)
• Full-time, permanent position available!
• Based at our Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD
• Roster: 7 on, 7 off (Day & Night shifts)
• Employed under the Dawson Collective Enterprise Agreement 2024
