The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities

General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Full-time (40 hours) position available; Days, NO weekends, holidays or call.

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology is seeking a full-time pediatric nurse to join our fast-paced, multidisciplinary outpatient team, providing autonomous yet collaborative patient- and family-centered care to children with various heart conditions. This role involves comprehensive care management, including telephone triage, phone-based patient education, family and physician support, as well as performing exercise testing, all while utilizing independent judgment with the support of our provider team. Candidates should possess 1-3 years of pediatric nursing experience, excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills, with preferred qualifications including knowledge of pediatric heart diseases; diverse applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
