The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE

Accountable for the provision of proficient patient care inclusive of complex patients. Assumes an expanded charge nurse role and assumes unit responsibility for orientation for new staff. May assume the role of care coordinator for a given group of patients, monitoring and evaluating patient care based on the unit standards of care. Actively involved in unit/service activities, contributing to outcomes from those groups.

Part-time position RN II (24 hours). Primarily weekdays, occasional weekend & on-call responsibilities for phone triage related to SMH employee health bloodborne pathogen exposures and contagions.

Works in a fast-paced environment providing nursing care and immunizations for pre-employment requirements, annual health updates, vaccination clinics, work-related injuries and illnesses, U of R employee contagion & exposures. Triage skills to cover Employee Health Call Center. Requires excellent communication skills, a strong ability to prioritize tasks, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Demonstrate flexibility and excellent customer service skills. Three years RN experience required.
