Junior Specialist / Consultant - Maternal & Fetal Medicine in a Leading Hospital

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a Junior Specialist / Consultant – Maternal & Fetal Medicine to join its Obstetrics & Gynecology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, performing fetal assessments, and ensuring the best possible maternal and fetal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric conditions.
• Perform detailed fetal ultrasounds, fetal growth assessments, and prenatal diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout pregnancy.
• Develop individualized care plans for women with medical, genetic, or obstetric complications.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide antenatal counseling and educate patients on pregnancy-related risks and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• MD / MS / DNB / MRCOG or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or equivalent subspecialty training in Maternal & Fetal Medicine .
• Relevant clinical experience in Maternal & Fetal Medicine.
• Strong expertise in fetal ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
