About The Role

They will report directly to the US STEEL Construction Manager.
They will be the direct contact for all deliveries for the new Hot Strip Mill.
Decide which laydown area the deliveries will go too. Make maps & addresses to send to the trucking companies & others, explain delivery hours & contact the designated contractors for unloading.
Prepare spread sheets, documents & pictures for reporting via email & present in weekly meetings as needed. Report damages directly to the Project Team Members as they are found.
File all delivery documents, BOL, Packing Lists & damage reports electronically & paper copies
Coordinate deliveries from the laydown areas to the construction site with the Construction Management Team.
The person who will apply for this position must have good experience with;

o Microsoft word, excel, power point, email & other Microsoft software
o Fluent with a computer
o Good verbal communication skills
o Able to read & understand a Microsoft or P6 schedules
o There will be office work as well as on site coordination at the laydown areas & the construction site

Working hours to start will be 8-9hrs 5 days a week. Once the project starts to ramp up the hrs can be 10-12hrs 6-7 days a week depending on the delivery schedule & what is needed at the construction site from any of the laydown areas.
