Intern Regional CFO Emerging Markets 100% (f/m/d) - 6-12months

The regional CFO team for Emerging Markets (reporting to the Group CFO) provides overall finance management to the region head related to key front topics and requires a broad skillset from both analytical and interpersonal level.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Act as partner to the business: Project management for product or fi nance related requests (e.g. loans, subsidies, rates programs, capital/funding analysis, pricing analysis, etc.).
• Maintain and improve the monitoring of initiatives with full responsibility for reconciliations
• Strategic fi nance topics: Support monthly financial reporting processes and provide commentary for Senior Management; contribute towards fi nancial planning for the Region and Markets and/or bigger local legal entities; work alongside Corporate Development team on M&A projects
• Ad hoc fi nance deep dives: Analysis for speci fi c senior management requests (e.g. Net N ew Money, local business transformation plans, strategic fi nance developments, etc.)
• Drive transformation projects for strategic finance topics: Assist fi nancial planning through financial modelling and identify & drive implementation of ongoing enhancements for the purpose of performance steering

YOUR PROFILE

• University student (Bachelor or Master level) or recent graduate
• Initial practical experience in finance or corporate finance and/or wealth management is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity for conceptual thinking
• Proactive and with ability to work independently
• “Can-do-attitude” coupled with openness to challenges and willingness to learn
• Proficient user in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is a requirement (spoken and written), German and other languages meritorious
