About The Role
The opportunity
Are you an organised, proactive legal professional who enjoys utilising your legal skills and providing team support? We are looking for a legal executive or legal secretary to join our Auckland litigation team in a varied, fast-paced role spanning legal support, matter management, court administration, document preparation and secretarial assistance as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of a leading litigation team, working closely with partners, solicitors, legal support staff – including the secretaries within the team, clients, courts and external parties.
How you will support the team
Each day will be different (we think the variety makes this role exciting), and your work will include
- Preparing statutory demands, affidavits of service and other litigation documents.
- Assisting with evidence management and coordination.
- Preparing electronic casebooks, exhibit bundles, bundles of authorities, document indexes and references.
- Maintaining accurate and organised files within iManage.
- Liaising with clients to schedule meetings and calls.
- Coordinating affidavit swearing appointments.
- Providing assistance to the litigation secretarial team as required.
- Assisting with diary management, court scheduling and general administrative support.
- Contributing to the smooth running of the Auckland litigation
