Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. is hiring Substitute Food Service Workers/Cashiers to support the school cafeteria team. This flexible, on-call position is perfect for individuals looking to work part-time while making a difference in a school community. Perfect for parents or retirees!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and cafeteria
- Restock supplies and assist with food prep and cleanup
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Must pass required background checks per district and NYS regulations

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior food service or school cafeteria experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong track record of showing up ready to work.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team, including coworkers, school staff, and students.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy school cafeteria environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must pass all background checks and comply with school and company health and safety requirements.
