[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Cybersecurity Analyst (Jan - May 2027)

The intern will be responsible in the following

• Support OT Cybersecurity BAU operations and project activities such as security systems implementation and AI.
• Review, maintain, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security policies.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect potential threats.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within security operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process automation (including but not limited to AI) to improve efficiency.
• Assist in vulnerability scanning activities to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.

Learning Outcomes

• Intern will gain practical experience in OT cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and policy governance.
• Develop skills in process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement within a real-world cybersecurity environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2. Foundational understanding of OT cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools.
3. Basic exposure to or interest in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and their applications in cybersecurity.
4. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
6. Knowledge in Operational Technology or ICS systems will be an added advantage.
