Senior General Accountant

We're hiring a Senior General Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team at Prince Retail Group of Companies in Mandaue City, Philippines. This full-time role requires a highly driven and detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing month-end and year-end closing activities, and driving process improvements across the organization.

This full-time role requires a highly driven and detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing month-end and year-end closing activities, and driving process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities include

• Leading month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitoring General Ledger accounts and recommending necessary adjustments.
• Performing account reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Preparing and consolidating financial statements.
• Coordinating audit requirements and liaising with external auditors.
• Generating management reports and financial dashboards.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.
• Supporting financial systems enhancements and implementation projects.
• Collaborating with business units to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial accounting role.
• Experience in Retail, BPO, or Shared Services industries.

• ERP Systems Experience (NetSuite is an advantage).
