We are actively seeking for a highly motivated Road Freight Operator, with passion for for logistics and efficient cargo management to join our team in Sindos, Thessaloniki.

The Road Freight Operator, will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of import shipments for clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure readiness for road freight import/export shipments by verifying documentation and shipment details.
• Coordinate bookings with trucking companies, agents, and correspondents, providing accurate delivery instructions to carriers, and preparing/loading notes as necessary.
• Ensure accuracy within the company’s ERP system (Orian).
• Generate and distribute required road freight documents, such as delivery orders.
• Oversee the issuance and management of invoices related to road freight shipments.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
• Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.
• Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business administration or other related fields.
• Previous experience in the shipping freight forwarding industry is desirable.
