About The Role
Technical Sales Representative (Business Unit: Characterization)

- We are looking for a new Technical Sales Representative based in Selangor, who will be responsible for Sale of laboratory equipment in Central Malaysia.
Responsibilities
To periodically visit, maintain and to foster our relationship with existing customer within your sales territory (“the face of the company”)
To generate new revenue through prospecting, lead/funnel and effective territory management
To prepare tender documents, to prepare quotations, to provide technical presentations, to professionally demonstrate your assigned product portfolio to potential customers, to install newly delivered products as well as to train customers on how to properly use our products
To periodically update and to maintain any project progress and/or activities in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
To participate/host workshops, conferences and exhibitions
The own the overall responsibility to convey our value proposition to the customer
Key Markets: Academia & Research, Paint & Coating Manufacturing, Petrochem & Chemical Manufacturing, Material Science & Nanotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics & Biotechnology Minerals, Mining & Raw Materials
Key Technologies: XRD, Rheometry, Particle Characterization, Solid Density & Porosity, Surface Charge and Zeta Potential and Material Characterization
Your profile
Education in Chemistry, Physics or Material, Mechatronics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering required (BSc or MSc degree)
At least two (2) years of experience in technical sales of analytical laboratory instrumentation (e.g. rheometry, particle size characterization, X-ray diffraction / X-ray fluorescence etc.)
Strong entrepreneurial mind-set, and MUST possess a can-do & win mentality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills through all media
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, can do attitude, able to work under own initiative and is not afraid to handle customer’s rejection
Willingness to travel within the region as well as overseas (i.e. product trainings)
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Business level in Bahasa Melayu and English
