Accounting Manager (Reinsurance / Insurance Industry)

Our client, a reputable and growing reinsurance company, is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong leadership experience, preferably from the insurance or reinsurance industry, who can ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC)

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
• Develop and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely deliverables.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.

Job Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with leadership exposure.
• Preferably with experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and accounting standards.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
