The Role

TRG Screen is on the hunt for an L&D Specialist to support our operations in Bengaluru, India.

This role plays a crucial part in shaping the growth and success of our global workforce by designing and facilitating engaging instructor-led training programs and developing effective e-learning courses using authoring tools like Articulate, Camtasia, and Captive. This role requires a highly motivated and self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment who can build strong relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content remains relevant, impactful, and aligned with business goals.

Act as a partner in the design and implementation of the education programming that aligns with and advances TRG Screen’s mission, vision, and values, such as the new employee onboarding experience and a variety of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a learning consultant and liaison to all departments to assess learning needs, create and implement learning strategies, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize training effectiveness. With expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and emerging learning technologies, this role plays a key part in shaping a dynamic and scalable L&D framework within a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create multimedia content, including videos, eLearning, and skills assessments.
  • Support the design and facilitation of engaging instructor-led in-person and virtual training sessions, team-building events, and workshops to enhance employee performance.
  • Assist in assessing learning needs and implementing effective learning strategies while working closely with key stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders and training participants to continuously refine training content and delivery methods.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for a global audience.
  • Track learning enrollment, participation, feedback, and outcomes using Quantum Workforce.
  • Analyze program metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and ensure ROI.
  • Promote training programs through creative and strategic communications using email and SharePoint.
  • Stay up to date with emerging learning technologies and methodologies, including AI-powered tools.
  • Review job descriptions and career path models to identify opportunities for performance development across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation best practices.
  • Familiarity with e-learning creation software, multimedia applications, and training engagement tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data processing and analysis, learning management systems administration, and other digital tools.
  • Proactive, creative problem-solver with strong organizational and project management skills.
