Specific activities

Operational

• Define and lead the logistics strategy at operational and tactical levels.
• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations.
• Translate Supply Chain strategy into operational plans and ensure effective execution.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with operational KPIs.
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with transportation/shipping areas.
• Drive digitalization through dashboards and real-time visibility tools.
• Ensure proper planning of routes, loads, and transportation capacity.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, waste reduction).
• Ensure organization, control, and flow at loading docks.

Regulatory & Quality

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage resources (headcount, equipment, docks, time).
• Participate in regulatory and customer audits.
• Maintain updated procedures.

People Management

• Assign workloads and shifts.
• Supervise operational discipline (KBIs) and KPI compliance.
• Train personnel in processes, safety, and regulations.
• Promote a positive work environment and continuous improvement culture.
• Identify training and development needs.

Administrative

Control incidents and operational deviations.
